Vibration – What Is It and Why Raise It?

Overview

These days it seems as though everyone is talking about raising their vibration. You may be wondering—what is vibration and why do I need to raise it? Everything in the universe, including humans, consists of energy vibrating at different frequencies. The level of energy frequency you put out is what you attract in return and your energy (or vibration) contributes to the collective.

As we move into a new era, the vibrations we radiate from our thoughts, words, feelings, and actions are of the utmost importance. Many physicists now believe that our universe is simply a hologram of consciousness, created by our collective energy vibration. Think about the significance of the impact you have or could have on the whole, whether it is a positive or negative influence.

Life is a series of vibrations created by one’s thoughts, words, feelings, and actions. As we have the same thoughts over and over and patterns emerge, we attract more of the same. Consciously changing our thoughts and corresponding emotions, changes the trajectory of our lives and of the collective.

Our thoughts are so powerful that they can affect our physical reality. Experiments conducted by Dr. Masaru Emoto proved that positive and negative thoughts can alter the properties of water. This brief video shows water crystal results from Dr. Emoto’s experiments: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9iM2NUPuR0

Gregg Braden (best-selling author, scientist, and renowned pioneer in the emerging paradigm based in science, social policy and human potential) indicates when we feel positive feelings such as appreciation, gratitude, forgiveness, care, and compassion, they are mirrored in the collective and everyone benefits from the experience of the relatively few. Studies, such as the Maharishi Effect, have found that as little as 1% of a population can effect a positive change.

Raising your vibration involves awareness and choice. Here is an experiment for you to try. Next time you go out, smile and say hello to everyone you pass by, see in the grocery store and at the bus station. Do you feel different afterward—in mind, body, and/or spirit? What response do you get?

When you are in a low-vibrational state, you feel disconnected from your Higher/Divine Self and from Source/God/Creator/Universe. (Please know that you are never truly disconnected from Source.) When you choose to live in high vibration, you feel more connected (and often truly KNOW you are connected) with your Divine Self, and create a life of fulfillment, peace, love, joy and wellbeing for yourself and for humanity.

Our thoughts, words, and feelings as well as physical actions are powerful!

Through conscious focus and intent, we can raise our vibration and manifest positive change in our own lives and in the collective, thus contributing toward a positive leap in humanity’s evolution.

Two Wolves—Two Stories

#1: Two Wolves – A Cherokee Story

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.

He said, "My son, the battle is between two "wolves" inside us all.

One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: "Which wolf wins?"

The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

#2: Grandfather Tells (The Wolves Within)

An old Grandfather said to his grandson, who came to him with anger at a friend who had done him an injustice, "Let me tell you a story.

I too, at times, have felt a great hate for those that have taken so much, with no sorrow for what they do.

But hate wears you down and does not hurt your enemy. It is like taking poison and wishing your enemy would die. I have struggled with these feelings many times."

He continued, "It is as if there are two wolves inside me.

One is good and does no harm. He lives in harmony with all around him and does not take offense when no offense was intended. He will only fight when it is right to do so, and in the right way.

But the other wolf, ah! He is full of anger. The littlest thing will set him into a fit of temper. He fights everyone, all the time, for no reason. He cannot think because his anger and hate are so great. It is helpless anger, for his anger will change nothing.

Sometimes, it is hard to live with these two wolves inside me, for both of them try to dominate my spirit."

The boy looked intently into his grandfather’s eyes and asked, "Which one wins, Grandfather?"

The Grandfather smiled and quietly said, "The one I feed."

Raising Your Vibration—A Deeper Dive

Deeper Dive Overview

When you raise your vibration, you shift, reshape, and re-create your reality, and you take another step toward your soul’s mission. Sometimes things don’t go as we would like. When this occurs, it is beneficial to step back and consider the broader implications. Because we are all connected, any given situation may contain collective aspects, such as collective karma, collective clearing, etc.

Many people hope to raise their vibration so high that they can rise above day-to-day issues and all of their problems go away. It often does not work that way!

Every situation offers an opportunity to raise our vibration, and our power lies in our response. We can choose to bemoan, complain, blame, or justify a particular situation, or we can accept it as ours (or ours as part of the collective) and choose an empowering response.

A good practice when you find yourself feeling angry, sad, anxious, or down in the dumps, is to ask yourself, “Why is this happening?” and “What do I need to learn from this experience?” After soul-searching, consciously choose a higher vibrational response in your thoughts, words, emotions, and/or actions.

It’s about self-realization and consistently monitoring your responses to stimuli and ensuring you are in full command of your mind, emotions, and physical responses, in a positive and spiritual manner.

As ancient spiritual souls—lightworkers, way-showers, starseeds, or whatever term who wish to use—conscious awareness of your crucial role in the collective and consistently raising your vibration to reshape your reality benefits the collective as we make our evolutionary leap into 5D.
