Overview
Vibration – What Is It and Why Raise It?
These days it seems as though everyone is talking about raising their vibration. You may be wondering—what is vibration and why do I need to raise it? Everything in the universe, including humans, consists of energy vibrating at different frequencies, emitting both light and sound. The level of energy frequency you put out is what you attract in return and your energy (or vibration) contributes to the collective. Understanding this, you hold the power to transform your health, your life, and the world around you by consciously raising your vibration.
As we move into a new era, the vibrations we radiate from our thoughts, words, feelings, and actions are of the utmost importance. Many physicists now believe that our universe is simply a hologram of consciousness, created by our collective energy vibration. This awareness underscores the interconnectedness of all beings, and the significant impact each individual has on the whole, whether it is a positive or negative influence. It’s also a great reminder of our shared responsibility to contribute positively to the collective energetic vibration.
Life is a series of vibrations created by one’s thoughts, words, feelings, and actions. As we have the same thoughts over and over and patterns emerge, we attract more of the same. Ramtha teaches that God lives within each of us, and the power to create our own reality also resides within us. “Whatever you think, whatever you come to realize, lifts and expands consciousness everywhere.”—Ramtha (1)
Consciously changing our thoughts and corresponding emotions, changes the trajectory of our lives and of the collective.
Our thoughts are so powerful that they can affect our physical reality. Experiments conducted by Dr Masaru Emoto proved that positive and negative thoughts can alter the properties of water. Please see footnote 2 for a brief video on Dr Emoto’s water crystal experiments. (2)
Our thoughts and emotions can change the very energy of the molecules in our bodies, including our DNA, which has a profound effect on our health, longevity, and alignment with our true path. “Since our atomic structures are made of light, we can utilize light in conjunction with combination therapies to facilitate greater levels of health and well-being.” –Ana Maria Mihalcea, M.D., Ph.D. Dr Mihalcea discusses this in more detail in her video on light medicine; please see footnote 3 for the video link. Gregg Braden, best-selling author, scientist, and renowned pioneer in the emerging paradigm based in science, social policy and human potential, indicates that when we feel positive feelings such as appreciation, gratitude, forgiveness, care, and compassion, they are mirrored in the collective and everyone benefits from the experience of the relatively few. Studies, such as the Maharishi Effect, have found that as little as 1% of a population can effect a positive change.
Dr David Hawkins created a map of consciousness, a logarithmic scale ranging from 0 to 1000, where each level represents a different state of consciousness. The lower levels (below 200) represent consciousness or vibrations associated with negative emotions, such as shame, guilt, fear, and anger. In comparison, the higher levels (200 and above) are associated with positive emotions and vibrations, such as courage, love, joy, peace, and enlightenment.
It is at the level of courage, at the 200 mark, where the energy field goes neutral because one has told the truth and thus rises above victimhood. (4) As one moves higher up the scale, the more one contributes toward the collective well-being of humanity.
Individuals can use this scale to test where they are on the map using techniques like Kinesiology. Knowing where one resides on the scale can help one better understand their current mental, emotional, and spiritual state and provide a roadmap for spiritual growth. One can set the intention to move up the scale and engage in practices to raise their vibration.
Raising your vibration involves awareness and choice. Here is an experiment for you to try. Next time you go out, smile and say hello to everyone you pass by, see in the grocery store and at the bus station. Do you feel different afterward—in mind, body, and/or spirit? What response do you get?
When you are in a low-vibrational state, you feel disconnected from your Higher Self and from Source/God/Creator/Universe. (Please know that you are never truly disconnected from Source.) When you choose to live in high vibration, you feel more connected (and often truly KNOW you are connected) with your Higher Self, and create a life of fulfillment, peace, love, joy and wellbeing for yourself and for humanity.
Our thoughts, words, and feelings as well as physical actions are powerful!
Through conscious focus and intent, we can raise our vibration and manifest positive change in our own lives and in the collective, thus contributing toward a positive leap in humanity’s evolution.

Two Wolves—Two Stories
#1: Two Wolves – A Cherokee Story
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.
He said, "My son, the battle is between two "wolves" inside us all.
One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: "Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."
#2: Grandfather Tells (The Wolves Within)
An old Grandfather said to his grandson, who came to him with anger at a friend who had done him an injustice, "Let me tell you a story.
I too, at times, have felt a great hate for those that have taken so much, with no sorrow for what they do..
But hate wears you down and does not hurt your enemy. It is like taking poison and wishing your enemy would die. I have struggled with these feelings many times."
He continued, "It is as if there are two wolves inside me.
One is good and does no harm. He lives in harmony with all around him and does not take offense when no offense was intended. He will only fight when it is right to do so, and in the right way.
But the other wolf, ah! He is full of anger. The littlest thing will set him into a fit of temper. He fights everyone, all the time, for no reason. He cannot think because his anger and hate are so great. It is helpless anger, for his anger will change nothing.
Sometimes, it is hard to live with these two wolves inside me, for both of them try to dominate my spirit."
The boy looked intently into his grandfather’s eyes and asked, "Which one wins, Grandfather?"
The Grandfather smiled and quietly said, "The one I feed."
Our Power Lies in Our Response—A Deeper Dive
Deeper Dive Overview
When you raise your vibration, you shift, reshape, and re-create your reality, and you take another step toward your soul’s mission. Sometimes things don’t go as we would like. When this occurs, it is beneficial to step back and consider the broader implications. Because we are all connected, any given situation may contain collective aspects, such as collective karma, collective clearing, etc.
Many people hope to raise their vibration so high that they can rise above day-to-day issues and all of their problems go away. It often does not work that way!
Every situation offers an opportunity to raise our vibration, and our power lies in our response. We can choose to bemoan, complain, blame, or justify a particular situation, or we can accept it as ours (or ours as part of the collective) and choose an empowering response.
A good practice when you find yourself feeling angry, sad, anxious, or down in the dumps, is to ask yourself, “Why is this happening?” and “What do I need to learn from this experience?” After soul-searching, consciously choose a higher vibrational response in your thoughts, words, emotions, and/or actions.
It’s about self-realization and consistently monitoring your responses to stimuli and ensuring you are in full command of your mind, emotions, and physical responses, in a positive and spiritual manner.
As ancient spiritual souls—lightworkers, way-showers, starseeds, or whatever term who wish to use—conscious awareness of your crucial role in the collective and consistently raising your vibration to reshape your reality benefits the collective as we make our evolutionary leap into 5D.

Spiritual Cleansing
Part of raising one’s vibration is using spiritual cleansing techniques to release negative energies. The following list offers ten ways to remove negative energies and cleanse your aura:
Take a walk in the woods.
Soak up sunshine.
Enjoy an Epsom or sea salt bath.
Surround yourself with crystals.
Use sound therapy (crystal bowls, solfeggio frequencies, etc.)
Repeat positive affirmations.
Smudge negative energy away.
Sit in silence (even for just a few minutes!)
Breathe deeply or use breathing techniques.
Use essential oils (Before using, please check safety of use with particular medical conditions, pregnancy, etc.)
Use the space below to create a list of spiritual cleansing techniques that resonate with you. Feel free to use ideas from the above list and/or do your own research and create some of your own.
Example: Sit under a tree for at least 10 minutes every day.
Affirmation: “I transform negative energy into love and light.”
The Power of Thought
Our reality is a process of our thinking…Thoughts have power!
Powerful quotes to consider:
“A man is but the product of his thoughts. What he thinks he becomes.” – Ghandi
“All that we are is a result of what we have thought.” - Buddha
“Likes tend toward likes.” – Plato
“We become what we think about all day long.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
“The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking.” – Albert Einstein
“What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” – Mark 11:24 (King James version of the Bible)
Considering that our thoughts create our reality, do you have any limiting beliefs (i.e. – I’m not good enough, smart enough, wealthy enough, etc.) or ongoing negative thoughts you would like to release? Please note these below and then write an empowering replacement thought to help you create the reality you desire.
Limiting Belief: Example: I’m not good enough to get the job I really want.
Replacement Thought: Example: My qualifications and passion will land me the job of my dreams!
Affirmation:
I am the conscious creator of my life!”
Water +
Using experiments with water, Dr. Masaru Emoto showed the impact of positive and negative thoughts on the properties of water.
When you consider that humans consist of approximately 60% water, think about the impact our thoughts and words have on us. We tend to be the hardest on ourselves…how can we show ourselves loving kindness instead?
Example: I will practice forgiving myself.
Affirmation:
“My thoughts have great power…I use my thoughts to positively impact myself and the world around me!”
