How to Support Others Awakening
Overview
The strong desire to help humanity is one of the reasons why so many people are drawn to Connecting Consciousness. We feel a deep inner calling to assist and one of the needs we’ve identified is to help awaken those who are still ‘sleeping.’ What is so exciting is that we are on the brink of monumental change, many of us can feel this, it’s almost palpable. We know it’s coming, we just don’t know when, and we dearly wish that everyone around us, our nearest and dearest, could see / feel / know this too.
Many of us have tried to awaken family members and friends, neighbours and colleagues, but very often unsuccessfully. This is because people will only listen when they are ready. We need to recognize when the time is right to assist and appreciate that people will only wake up when they are ready and when they receive their inner calling. If they are not ready, nothing you can say will help.
Something needs to trigger people to move into this readiness. The good news is that we may be approaching a time when more people receive their inner calling and are therefore ready to listen.
We are seeing more visible events that may assist with people’s awakening as well.
For example, over forty members of the British Parliament stepped down on the same day that the Georgia Guidestones were destroyed in the US. These Guidestones were stone monuments built in Georgia in March of 1980. They were a series of standing stones with a flat stone across the top. Each stone had ten commitments that the Cabal/Elite wanted to happen by 2020 (which was later pushed back to 2030.) According to the New York Post, these commitments were written in eight modern languages and four ancient languages, essentially setting their directives in stone. The first commitment was to reduce the world’s population from seven billion to half a billion.
This is real evidence—set in stone—that a group of ruling Elites want to significantly reduce the world’s population. On 6 July at 4 am EDT, one of the stones was hit and disintegrated. Later that day, the rest of the monument was taken down, showing that this ruling Elite no longer rules.
As more and more people begin to awaken, we need to have tools to support them as they approach their crisis moment. See the list below for ideas to get you started.
Awakening Process
How can we notice when people begin to awaken? People begin noticing one situation or event that doesn’t make sense / doesn’t feel right / creates red flags. People who are just beginning to awaken often focus on one thing, and do not always connect the dots. This is something we can help with.
In order to awaken, people need to let go of their paradigms and recognize the loss of what they thought was real and true. It is like flipping a coin and seeing a whole new landscape one didn’t know existed.
This process can be very shocking, and we must keep this in mind as we support those going through this awakening process. Also, recognize that people will experience a multitude of emotions, and many will go through grief cycles as a part of their awakening process.
Most psychologists and grief therapists recognize five key steps in the grief process: denial/isolation, anger/hostility, bargaining, depression and acceptance. Many people do not go through these phases in a linear fashion, the stages do not always appear in this order, and not everyone experiences every stage. It is common to advance and then move backwards as one moves through the cycle. Other people may feel a sense of relief because they felt something was off and are now stepping into a paradigm that makes more sense. It is a very personal journey.
When and how to help depends on whether the individual you wish to assist is ready to listen. If he or she is ready, tools are provided in the Reference Document. If the individual is not yet ready, be patient. Offer kindness and compassion, connect with them on a level you are both comfortable with and be there whenever they receive their inner calling.
Most importantly, remain grounded and in a heart-centered space, which will position you to be of the greatest assistance. For so many of us, our lifelong family and friends are of vital importance to our life and well-being. For others, we have naturally lost (or stifled) these relationships through our life challenges which have led us to awaken.
One caution—at no stage do we endorse putting our principles over these valuable relationships, however important our principles and values feel to us. As social beings, we need family and friends, and the loss of key relationships in our lives can cause great distress. We encourage everyone to live their best life, and family and friends are a part of this in an ideal world. We recognize that many have lost relationships as we have gone through the awakening process, literally and metaphorically leaving behind loved ones.
It's important to respect others’ decisions, remembering that these are made based on their own set of values and understanding at any given time. It is each of our responsibility to recognize whether our own decisions are good or bad, and to avoid criticizing others for their decisions.
As noted above, people will not wake up until they are ready, so it is ideal to maintain relationships and put differing opinions aside or remain on polite terms from a distance, while simultaneously maintaining alignment with your Divine Self. When viewing all of this from a broader perspective, it could just be a matter of time before others cross the proverbial bridge and join you on the other side.
Discussion Questions
How can we help others wake up and step out of the “matrix?”
How was the awakening process for you? How did you feel?
Have you ever had a conversation with a loved one / friend and were able to open their mind and have them really listen to you? What was it about and are they awake now?
How can we recognize when the time is right for another individual to “awaken?” What are the signs or pointers?
A Deeper Dive: Making the World a Better Place
This Deep Dive is an important topic, yet it is intentionally lighter than many of the other Deep Dives we have created. We selected a lighter, positive, empowering and actionable Deep Dive for this topic to balance the Overview / Reference materials, which have the potential to go down some dark rabbit holes.
Now that we have woken up to what’s going on and to how challenging things have become, we want to focus on contributing toward making the world a better place.
We can accept that the world isn’t as we would like it to be and that there are challenges to getting to a better place. We can acknowledge this and at the same time, understand where there’s a will, there’s a way. We are on the brink of a great quantum leap, and we all have a part to play. Every member within CC can do their part to help. What can we do as individuals and groups to make the world a better place?
The first part of awakening is a recognition of what is really going on and how challenging some things have become. Now it’s time to take control and recreate a new way of life that is nurturing, empowering and enables more time to live, to laugh, to love, to be.
We can set positive examples, modeling living our best life so we can shine our light and encourage others to do the same. Every positive thought, feeling and action contributes toward building the new. As such, this is the ideal time to think about positive manifestations. We can rebuild relationships and / or release relationships that no longer align with our Higher / Divine Self, interacting with others in a more loving way. We can think positive thoughts and take actions toward creating a better community and an improved way of life. What does this look like for you? How can we manifest this and incorporate aspects of it step by step in manageable ways?
This is also a great time to write your own story of how you woke up, whether it was last week, last year, or many years ago. We all have a story to tell, however long or short it may be. Writing about your personal journey brings it to the forefront of your mind and allows you to recall ideas and approaches that may resonate with and help other people. As a part of this process, remember this is very personal and some things that occur are enough for one person to wake up but not enough for another. Also, everyone wakes up in his / her own time.
Even if we are unable to awaken our nearest and dearest, we can find ways to help humanity, our communities, and the world. Dream big and start small! What are your skills and passions, and how can you share these with the world? We can all make a difference in our own authentic way.
There are many people around the world who are doing this right now. One example is Michael Tellinger, a South African author, researcher, and activist who founded the Ubuntu Liberation Movement. This movement of higher consciousness focuses on unity, abundance, prosperity and freedom for everyone. In this system, every individual can contribute their skills and talents for the benefit of the broader community. The Ubuntu motto is unity—“If it’s not good for everyone, it's no good at all.” Additional information can be found at: https://www.ubuntucontributionism.org/, and in this 4-minute video about the “One Small Town” strategy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FW6hH39gGug.
Communities used to operate in this manner, understanding their connectedness and looking out for each member of their “tribe.” Each individual’s talents and skills were honored, and their contributions were used to benefit the whole. When a woman had a baby, community members pitched in to assist with cooking, cleaning, and helping care for the new child. When someone was ill, people brought food, offered healing, compassion and company. We have fallen away from this kind of living, indoctrinated into a sense of “me” focused independence instead of living in service to everyone.
Unified communities have broken down slowly over a long period of time. These days, communities are more broken than ever, in part because many of us have become somewhat isolated due to our beliefs. There are also people who are dedicated to community spirit and service, but who are not awake and aware, and we need to find ways to reintegrate.
In order to thrive in the new golden age, we don’t need to reinvite the wheel. Instead, we can return to our former sense of community, connectedness, and service to others. We can create communities where people care about each other—family, friends, neighbors, colleagues—where everyone receives help when needed and no one feels lonely or isolated.
A core value of Connecting Consciousness is helping people make connections. As highlighted in the examples outlined below, CC Coordinators, volunteers and members are all doing their part to making a difference in their communities.
Three humanitarian projects have been approved, including a healing center in the UK, a healing center in the US, and a Montessori school in South Africa.
Don’t underestimate small acts of kindness. As Cartoonist Scott Adams says, “Remember there’s no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end.” As this quote suggests, no act is too small. Offering a smile, a small gift, or a kind word can be exactly what another person needs. You can drive a neighbour to an appointment, pick up trash on the beach, take cookies to a friend. Give a hug, visit someone who is lonely, call your mom. Walk someone’s dog, give a compliment, donate things you no longer use. The list of small acts with big impacts is endless. This day may not bring a monumental opportunity, project or event for you to help others, and yet, small opportunities present themselves each and every day.
The Australia CC group has implemented Sue Gay’s service initiative, “You, Being Me.” The purpose is one member enlisting the help of another (typically remote) member to carry out an act of unpaid, loving service, and reinforcing heart-felt connections. An example is a CC member who has a family member residing on the other side of the country asks a “service angel” to check in on her isolated family member. “You, Being Me” offers an immediate, accessible and do-able way of serving others.
Robin Crawford, US East Regional Coordinator and Melinda Sanhaj, US West Virginia and Kentucky Coordinator, designed the “Kindness Ambassador” initiative. Kindness Ambassadors are available in different regions to assist members who are struggling, lonely, or looking for a connection. An example—recently, a Kindness Ambassador checked in with a member who is caring for her ill husband.
Other CC Coordinators and volunteer teams worldwide who have initiated “Small Acts of Kindness” campaigns to help CC members and community members. Others are helping local organisations like battered women’s shelters, homeless shelters, food kitchens, animal rescues, toy donations, clothing drives, etc.
CC also offers a worldwide Prayer Circle, led by Robin Crawford, Brandi Fulgo, and Debi Gilbert. This beautiful service allows members worldwide to submit their prayer requests. Each week, a group of CC Volunteers meet to pray together incorporating all of the individual prayers and asking for "what is of the Highest Good of All in Love & Light for everyone and everything.” Praying together provides an amplified focus on each individual request, generates a palpable group vibration and a greater flow of divine energy.
Another way to help is by thinking positively and visualizing the outcomes you wish to create. While this may sound new-agey to many, there is science backing the effectiveness. In a study published in the March 2016 Journal of Behavior Research and Therapy, researchers from Kings College in London conducted testing with subjects diagnosed with GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder.) One group visualized images of positive outcomes to their worries, the second group thought of positive verbal outcomes, and the third group visualized a positive image anytime they began to worry.
All three groups benefited from the study, showing decreases in anxiety and worry, with no significant difference between the groups. This study shows the power of positivity and visualization.
Leigh Ross, New Zealand Coordinator, offers an International CC Meditation to help anchor in 5D. During these meditations, Leigh offers beautiful, guided visualizations to help us raise our vibration. The group energy adds to the beauty of these sessions, amplifying the positive, powerful vibration to the collective.
There has been much research completed on visualization, and all point to the same conclusion—our brains stimulate the same function when one is performing an activity or intently visualizing the activity. The bottom line is that our brains cannot tell the difference between a real event and an imagined one. So why not spend time visualizing the world you want to live in? As Albert Einstein said, “Imagination is everything. It’s the preview of life’s coming attractions.”
There are so many different ways we can help right here, right now…without waiting for anything to occur or for any external assistance. Some of the ways we help are anchored in the physical—a smile, an act of kindness, volunteering one’s time; while others are more spiritual—praying, meditating and visualization.
“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”—Lao Tzu

Reference Document: Tools for Awakening Others
Overview
We have to accept and respect that everyone has their own journey and their own beliefs, perspectives, and specific triggers that make them begin to question life and the matrix. When engaging with someone on a topic, we need to know how to ask relevant questions. The right questions will make one think and contemplate. It’s like finding a hole in a fabric and gently pulling to make it a little bit bigger. You can’t force it…and if you don’t get it right, people will cling harder to their own paradigm if they feel it has been challenged.
When in conversation, these relationship tools can be helpful:
Avoid Labels – Help others consider how a label may be placed on someone for a particular agenda or to help another person feel better. Example—calling someone a ‘conspiracy theorist.’ Questions to consider—is the person who is being labeled really a nutcase or are they a good, sane person who is in service to others?
Visualization – This is a powerful tool to use, especially for those who have lost loved ones over their differences. Visualize a wonderful visit, where both you and the other individual is joyful and embracing, and imagine making up and restoring your relationship.
Write a Letter – This is another tool that is useful for those who have lost loved ones or have strained relationships. Write a letter that says something like, “I love you… let’s not lose our relationship over this.” Avoid including any confrontational topics. This letter can be mailed, emailed, or not sent at all. The positive intent and action of writing is therapeutic in and of itself and can be good preparation for future connections.
One of the best ways to help others is to live your life with peace, love, joy, health, etc. using your own principles, and in doing so you are setting a positive example for others.
Finally, remember that helping humanity awaken is not just about words and one-on-one interactions. It’s also about shining one’s own light. When we raise our individual vibration, this has a ripple effect and significantly contributes to the collective, including awakening others.
“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in service to others.” – Mahatma Gandhi
Tools and Resources to Help When Engaging with Others:
CC Resources - Everyone in CC is a resource! Check Mighty Networks for information and ideas on a multitude of topics and ask questions during your group Zoom meetings and at face-to-face gatherings.
Invite others to join CC – People who are in the process of awakening may wish to join CC to benefit from Zoom meetings, local gatherings, spiritual topics, Mighty Networks and ongoing conversations about what’s really going on in the world.
Know how to ask the right questions of the un-awakened – Ask the right questions based on an individual’s specific interests, experiences, beliefs or argument. A list of ideas is included below, however, creating your own question(s) that are customized to the individual you are communicating with will result in greater success.
Do you trust that your government is looking out for your best interests? Or…Do you trust that your government leaders represent you (“we the people?”)
Do you believe that our elections (local, national, or around the world) are fair and represent the people? If not, why do you think cheating occurred? Who is behind it? What are the implications?
Have you heard of chemtrails? If no, research. If yes, who do you think is putting toxicity into our air and why? Why would our governments allow this to happen?
We’ve been told, “We’re the only ones” …yet research shows up to 10 billion planets just in our small galaxy that could hold liquid water, which could make them habitable to alien life. Give this, why do you think we’ve been led to believe we are the only ones? Is someone hiding something? What do you think that is and why?
Regarding the government’s handling of COVID.
Do you believe the government’s approach was in the best interest of the people?
Why do you think small businesses were shut-down, yet big stores (like Walmart) remained open? Wouldn’t there have been a greater chance to catch COVID in a larger store? What were the implications of this approach?
Have you compared deaths from year to year (in the years when we were told COVID would kill millions?)
Do your own research – Encourage others to do their own research instead of relying on someone else to tell them what to think. Doing one’s own research provides a powerful learning opportunity. When suggesting this, please remind individuals to use a browser, social media sites, and websites that do not censor. Note that this method is best used when someone is already in the process of waking up. A starting list of research topics is provided below, however, you can add to this list and customize it based on the needs of the individual you are conversing with:
